After eighteen GP  the best riders in the world and all the fans of motocross have gathered in Maggiora for the end of this season. The seventieth edition of the Motocross of Nations was held on the legendary track of the "Mottaccio del Balmone" that, exactly thirty years after the legendary edition of 1986, hosted once again what is known as the Olympics games of Motocross. Never before in this edition the prediction was almost impossible to do, and in fact, until the last moto of the day, everything has changed several times. The three races have lived on the alternation of the various national teams at the head of the overall, and until the last lap of the third moto everyone was holding their breath. In the first race, which saw opposing riders of MXGP and those of the MX2, Romain Febvre (FRANCE - Monster Energy Yamaha) has won the first place in front of the thousands of people that filled all the space available on the track, what was a spectacular "sold out". Third position for Kevin Strijbos (BELGIUM - Suzuki World MXGP) and finished in fifth place, first rider aboard a 250 cc motorcycle, Jeremy Van Horebeek (BELGIUM - Monster Energy Yamaha) In the second heat (MX2 - Open) Gautier Paulin ( FRANCE - Honda HRC) has brought the french flag in third place while his teammate Benoit Paturel (FRANCE - Yamaha Kemea) crossed the line in tenth position. Excellent seventh place of Jeremy Van Horebeek (BELGIUM - Monster Energy Yamaha). It was as always the final fraction (MXGP - Open) as decisive, and this time everyone had to wait for the last waving checkered flag of the day to know wich is the winning nation. The US team held the lead of the operations until two laps to go, when Webb has suffered a fall, leaving the Netherlands a "flat" road to the success. Netherlands but has had to bow to France, that just in the last step was successful, with Romain Febvre, to reach a precious position that projected the french on the highest step of the podium. For the second time in two races, he finished in third place Kevin Strijbos (BELGIUM - Suzuki World MXGP). The final ranking was dominated by France, winner of the last three editions of the Motocross of Nations on Holland, followed by the USA team. Off the podium the belgian team, fourth, and fifth final position for Italy.
